American Horror Story: Cult Review: Charles (Manson) in Charge (Season 7 Episode 10)
Things end in more bloodshed from Kai on American Horror Story: Cult Season 7 Episode 10, “Charles (Manson) in Charge.”
I’ve been thinking non-stop how Bebe and Kai could be connected, but never did I think that she is the reason he’s lost his mind and become a total psycho. Bebe lit the fire inside of Kai, but he’s the one who took control and molded into something else.
All we see is Bebe telling Kai to get the women to rage, and her helping get the women of the group to rebel against Kai, but it’s highly unlikely that she hasn’t been in the background plotting things with Kai the entire time.
I know that Kai would never get killed off by someone like Bebe, but I was hoping that Bebe would take Kai out. Ally pops into the room at the wrong time and ruins it all.
Kai deserves to die for all that he’s done.

I never liked Gary — throughout the entire season I’ve disliked him with a passion because of the way he’s helped Kai, but I can’t help but get a little sad at his death scene. Gary has been loyal to Kai since day one.
Through thick and thin, Gary lived and breathed for Kai and everything that he stood for. For Kai to pick Gary to sacrifice is beyond messed up.
Gary even accepts his fate and stands there while he is stabbed to death.

I’m at a loss for words that Kai kills Winter. I can’t believe I’m so gullible that I thought she would make it out alive. The audible gasp I make when Kai says “Butte, Montana” and pulls out the train ticket is so loud that my roommate in the other room laughs at me.
I think the thing that makes me the sickest about Kai killing Winter is even though she was betraying him by trying to leave and get away she wasn’t the one recording him and being a snitch. That is Speedwagon.
Winter is open with Kai about her wanting to leave. She is straight to the point with him and explains that she can no longer see him anymore. If only Winter had hidden the train ticket better, she could’ve been home free.

It’s probably a good thing that Beverly doesn’t take the train ticket from Winter because Kai probably would’ve found her eventually and gotten his revenge for betraying him.
Plus, Beverly has a right not to believe anything Winter says after she got Beverly locked away by framing her.
I can’t make myself be mad at Ally because at this point her whole charade and the newfound love for Kai is so that she can escape with Oz and run like the wind. I get her logic, but I’m confused as to why she’s stopped him from being killed more than once.
All Ally needs is for Kai to be dead so she can leave with Oz so why is she continuing the act when he could have what was coming to him, and it be all over?
Maybe Ally has a checklist of things she has to finish before escaping and Winter was on there. Winter did seduce Ally’s wife, so she had something coming when it came to Ally, not death, but maybe an ass beating.
Most of the time a shows penultimate episode gives some insights on what might happen in the finale, but this time I’m stumped.
The only wish I have for the season finale is that Kai dies, preferably at the hands of Ally.
Other Thoughts:
- Ally better make it out of the season finale alive or I’ll be so upset.
- Speedwagon better get what he has coming to him. I won’t be shocked if Ally is the one who turns him over to Kai.
