Peter Krause Answers the Call to Ryan Murphy’s New Fox Drama ‘9-1-1’
Peter Krause is joining Ryan Murphy’s new drama 9-1-1 with fellow Emmy award nominee Angela Bassett. The new series is set to premiere on Fox in 2018.
9-1-1 will explore what comes after that fateful question of “9-1-1, what’s your emergency?” and the experiences of police, paramedics, and firefighters who are thrown into the heart-stopping circumstances. These emergency responders will have to balance saving those in these thrilling situations, while also having to solve problems in their own lives.

The provocative drama is from creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk whose resume includes the American Horror Story franchise and Nip/Tuck.
In addition, Tim Minear (Feud and American Horror Story) has joined the series as executive producer and showrunner, while McG (Lethal Weapon and Shadowhunters) will direct the series premiere.
Krause’s most recent television stint was on ABC’s The Catch, which was just cancelled after two seasons.

Before that, he starred as Adam Braverman on the NBC family drama Parenthood and held a starring role on HBO’s Six Feet Under.
