News, Pitch

You didn’t think Mark-Paul Gosselaar would be gone from our television screens too long, did you?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gosselaar will star in the vampire-themed drama pilot, The Passage.

The Passage is based on Justin Cronin’s best-selling novel of the same name, and is described as “an epic, character-driven thriller that morphs into a post-apocalyptic odyssey.”

Gosselaar will play Brad Wolgast, an FBI agent coping with a recent tragedy, who eventually goes on the run with young Amy Bellafonte (Saniyya Sidney), a ten-year-old who seems to have special powers that allow her to communicate with “virals.”

Also starring in the series are Saniyya Sidney, Genesis Rodriguez, Brianne Howey, BJ Britt, and Jennifer Ferrin.
