Netflix Cancels ‘Sense8’ After Two Seasons
The Netflix original series, Sense8, has been canceled after two seasons.
“After 23 episodes, 16 cities and 13 countries, the story of the Sense8 cluster is coming to an end,” Cindy Holland, VP of Netflix original content said in a statement.

“It is everything we and the fans dreamed it would be: bold, emotional, stunning, kick ass, and outright unforgettable. Never has there been a more truly global show with an equally diverse and international cast and crew, which is only mirrored by the connected community of deeply passionate fans all around the world,” Holland continued.
“We thank Lana, Lilly, Joe and Grant for their vision, and the entire cast and crew for their craftsmanship and commitment.”
The Sense8 Twitter account shared a tweet that simply said, “Thank you for being a part of our journey. Sensates forever.” So far, many fans have already responded to the news with great disappointment. In fact, that’s an understatement.

The science fiction series created by The Wachowskis followed a group of people, “sensates,” who are mentally and emotionally linked. The show’s ensemble cast included Aml Ameen, Toby Onwumere, Doona Bae, Jamie Clayton, Tina Desai, Tuppence Middleton, Max Riemelt, Miguel Angel Silvestre, and Brian J. Smith.
Netflix recently canceled another of its original series, The Get Down, last week.
