Grey’s Anatomy: Kim Raver Returning as Teddy Altman
Teddy Altman is heading back to Grey-Sloan Memorial.
According to Deadline, Kim Raver is set to reprise her role as Teddy Altman for a guest arc during Grey’s Anatomy Season 14. Presumably, she’ll be returning as part of the storyline involving with Owen’s sister.
Raver’s return isn’t surprising considering the phone calls Teddy shared with Amelia at the end of Season 13, though we only saw one side of that at the time.
We haven’t seen Teddy Altman since she was fired from the hospital by Owen, who was chief at the time, back in Season 6. His motivation for firing his long-time friend was to encourage her to take to go after her dream job at MEDCOM.
A lot has changed at the hospital since then, that’s for sure — including the name of the hospital itself.

Since Grey’s Anatomy, Raver has appeared on several shows including NCIS: Los Angeles, Revolution, 24: Live Another Day, and Bones. She was also recently cast in a recurring role on Showtime’s Ray Donovan.
