Our 18 Favorite Ship Moments, In Honor Of Valentine’s Day
6. Klaus holds Cami as she dies (The Originals)

Cami had technically died on The Originals before this, but her for-real-permanent death managed to have a sense of finality that many supernatural shows which frequently resurrect dead characters on the fly fail to achieve.
Joseph Morgan’s performance as a distraught Klaus attempting to remain strong for dying Cami’s sake was virtually flawless. Leah Pipes nailed Cami’s fear and acceptance, and she even managed to throw in a moment to counsel Klaus against doing anything stupid in the wake of her death.
Klamille ended before they’d ever really began, which is a tragedy. But Cami’s death scene was beautiful and underscored the deep and true love between the two characters, at least.
7. Bonenzo’s “I’ll never leave you” (The Vampire Diaries)

After seasons of being pushed to the backburner – and relegated increasingly half-assed love stories – on The Vampire Diaries who would have thought that Elena’s bestie would have her perfect romance in the long-running vampire drama’s final season? And who would have guessed that Bonnie’s one true love would wind up being Enzo, a vampire, after Bonnie’s well-deserved years-long hatred of vamps?
Bonnie almost sacrificing her own life to get Enzo to flip his humanity switch back on was a stressful, tear-jerking moment. Luckily, it worked. And let’s just not talk about Enzo’s eventual sad fate right now, okay?
8. Steroline’s marriage proposal (The Vampire Diaries)

The romance between Stefan and Caroline was The Vampire Diaries‘ best slow-burn relationship since the early days of Damon and Elena. The friends-to-lovers development is one of the greatest types of ‘ships that there is.
The gradual realization Caroline had about her feelings for her best friend’s ex-boyfriend/doppelgänger soulmate was handled perfectly, as was Stefan’s eventual acknowledgment of his own feelings for his long-time best friend.
After tons of angst, humanity-off switches, and the death of Caroline’s mother, Steroline finally had one perfect, flaw-free moment – Stefan surprising Caroline with a marriage proposal. Of course, their happiness didn’t last very long, when Stefan was eventually conscripted into Cade’s service in order to save Caroline and Alaric’s kids. But we’re still holding out hope for that #SterolineJuneWedding.
9. Darryl comes out and kisses White Josh (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend)

After a surprise kiss (and a refreshingly casual coming-out realization), Rebecca’s lawyer boss on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend proudly proclaimed himself a “both-sexual” before planting one on White Josh.
And thus, a flock of White Joshfeather ‘shippers were born.
10. Densi’s proposal(s) (NCIS: LA)

First, NCIS: LA gave us the sort of proposal — a TV couple actually talking about the possibility of getting married, *gasp*. And then there was the actual proposal, the one that Kensi couldn’t hear, the one that was about giving her a reason to go on as much as it was a reaffirmation of a promise that actually had to prove the “for better or worse” before the actual wedding.
How can we separate the two? We can’t. And the best part is – we don’t have to. And all good things come in threes, so there’s surely another (more definitive) proposal in our future.

Thank you for including my favorite OTP, Deeks and Kensi from NCIS LA, hopefully we see the engagement before the end of this season. He has asked, she sort of said yes, and he has a ring!!!!
Steroline, definitely!
