Television’s Top 16 Scene-Stealers of 2016
7. Maeve (Westworld)

At first, it seemed like Delores was going to be the star of Westworld, and then Maeve (Thandie Newton) came along and stole the show. Maeve is beautiful and charming but she’s strong-willed and ruthless. We tuned in every week to see what she did next. Maeve is truly a badass and we root for her. 2018 can’t come fast enough.
Maeve: Oh Felix, you really do make a terrible human being. And I mean that as a compliment.
8. Barry Goldberg (The Goldbergs)

Barry Goldberg (Troy Gentile) makes any scene better on The Goldbergs. He’s loud, outrageous, and holds his ninja skills in high regards. Barry is the most boisterous of the Goldbergs and proves week after week that he can be a really great brother and a thoughtful boyfriend. He’s also a giant goofball. Big Tasty forever!
9. Rich Dotcom (Blindspot)
For a show that’s about a woman’s loss of identity and her mysterious tattoos, there is one guest star that can come in and steal a plotline like there’s no tomorrow. For the team on Blindspot, that’s Rich DotCom, the only man who can make a “literal garbage” t-shirt ironic.
Although Rich DotCom only comes into this high-paced drama sporadically, the hilarious hijinks he gets up to make viewers mourn when he leaves and rejoice when he returns.
10. Dylan DiMeo (Speechless)
Dylan DiMeo (Kyla Kennedy) is the sweet-faced daughter in the DiMeo family with an acid tongue. Whether it’s messing with her neighbors or torturing her brother, Ray, Dylan is both funny and likeable. Her character only strengthens the DiMeo family and makes Speechless one of the best new shows on TV.
11. Dustin Henderson (Stranger Things)

Stranger Things is full of breakout performances, but Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) is the one who stole our hearts. He is the best kind of friend anyone can have—sweet, funny, loyal, and mischievous. How much longer do we have to wait for Season 2?
Dustin: Our friend has superpowers, and she squeezed your tiny bladder with her mind!
12. Dina (Superstore)

Dina (Lauren Ash) is like the Dwight Shrute of the Cloud 9 superstore. With a great ensemble cast, Dina manages to standout each week on Superstore with her brashness and no-nonsense attitude.
She’s a stickler for rules and will go above and beyond (sometimes a little sketchily) to prove a point. Dina should be unlikeable, but watching her is a delight.
