The 14 Best Music Moments From Chuck

Lists

Chuck, NBC’s beloved spy comedy, was fun, snappy, and full of life, featuring an adorable Zachary Levi as the clumsy slacker-turned-secret agent.

Full of twists and turns, this heartwarming series had its fair share of romance, intrigue, and thrilling action scenes. Besides the excellent storytelling and character growth, Chuck also had fantastic music to enhance each scene, featuring plenty of indie bands, classic rock, and the occasional Christmas song. Here are the best music moments from Chuck.

1. “Chuck Versus the Intersect” (Season 1 Episode 1)

Chuck and Sarah’s first date starts with dinner, but then progresses to a dance club filled with FBI agents trying to capture Chuck. “Into Your Dreams” by Foreign Born is the perfect song to accompany Sarah’s sexy dancing, Chuck’s nervous dancing, and clandestine knife-throwing, all at once.

2. “Chuck Versus the Tango” (Season 1 Episode 3)

Who could forget the time when Chuck and Captain Awesome tangoed? But even more thrilling was when Chuck tangoed with the dangerous arms smuggler La Ciudad, to the seductive “Santa Maria” by the Gotan Project.

3. “Chuck Versus the Sizzling Shrimp” (Season 1 Episode 5)

“Private Eyes” by Hall and Oates was a key song on Chuck’s stakeout playlist, made better by snacking on the infamous sizzling shrimp.

4. “Chuck Versus the Truth” (Season 1 Episode 8)

Chuck ending his fake relationship with Sarah was bittersweet, because although we knew Chuck deserved a real girlfriend and we all liked Lou, we also knew that Sarah genuinely harbored feelings for Chuck, but could never tell him. “Fresh Feeling” by Eels conveyed these emotions perfectly.

5. “Chuck Versus the Seduction” (Season 2 Episode 2)

Chuck happily skipping to Sarah’s apartment in a white suit with a rose to the tune of “Love It All” by The Kooks was so sweet and sappy. Let’s all agree to forget the moment after, when it’s Bryce who opens the door.
