9 Times Scandal’s Jake Ballard Was Undeniably Awesome
6. The time when he tried to help OPA take down B6-13 and Command.
Jake, OPA, and David Rosen tried to take legal measures to get B6-13 shut down for good. Jake testified against the organization even though it meant admitting he’d done horrible things. Unfortunately, Command killed everyone that heard his testimony, but I guess you can’t win them all.
7. That time he survived the hole (twice.)
B6-13 has a twisted kind of punishment where they drop you down in a concrete hole and cover the top until they feel like you’ve learned your lesson. It’s incredibly barbaric and disgusting, but Jake has survived it at least twice now and he hasn’t let it turn him into a monster.
8. That time he danced with Olivia.
Jake has the ability to laugh and joke and have fun with Olivia. He brings her Gettysburger, and dances barefoot with her in her living room. He makes her smile, and he respects her choices and the two of them can just have fun with each other.
He has the remarkable ability just be with her and make her happy. It’s always heartwarming to see them just have fun.
9. Each time he shows his genuine love for Olivia.
Jake’s one real weakness is Olivia Pope. He loves her selflessly and honestly; he would do anything for her at the drop of a hat. And though Olivia may not love him back with the same intensity, she loves him enough not to watch him die.
Last week, we watched her try to get him out of the clutches of her vicious father, but when Rowan usurps their plan she sacrifices her relationship with Jake to save his life.
Jake: The truth of the matter is that I’ll never love anyone as much as I love you.

If Fitz didn’t go to war there would be no Liv for them to be ”proactive” over so Fitz saved the day. When he was command he was crazy and killed a loved character, Jamaes and he choked Liv. No he doesn’t give her space when she needs it. Fitz on the other end he was able to go a year without seeing her and 6 months as of late. Jake is always looking to get sex and breaks into her house to get it. He didn’t respect her boundaries when he accused her of being the reason Elise was dead. He wasn’t Olivia’s safe space. If he hadn’t followed her to the casino she wouldn’t have talked to him anyway. Later she spoke to Abby about Fitz so he’s no special. iv said the sun went down long ago. She probably got bored there as she needs dram to thrive, mostly in Washington where her business is.
WTF! jake choked Olivia and threatened to kill her at gun point. So no, Jake has never been awesome. He’s ruined the show.
If Fitz didn’t go to war, Olivia would be DEAD. So Kill the noise. Fitz is the man who truly loves Olivia on this show. Jake is always the side piece.
