Scream Queens: The Best of Chad Radwell
Screams Queens premiered this fall, and with it came laughter, mystery, subtle pop culture references, and Chad Radwell. Chad (played by Glen Powell) is the best comedic relief on the show, providing nothing short of perfection in every one of his scenes.
Even though his parting scene was not very fulfilling for all of us crazy Chad fans, he still reminded us just how memorable he truly can be.
Here are a few times when Chad reminded us of how amazing he really was.
1. Declarations of Love

We all remember the time that somebody told us that they loved us and the only real response that we could give them was ‘’thank you.” Well, Chad showed us that there could be an even better approach: saying I love you too, but saying it quickly before they can really hear it. It’s smart and won’t encourage your many suitors too much.
Chad even took it a step further and began to compliment Chanel in order to distract her. We could all learn a thing or two from Chad for sure.
2. Fortune Telling

Did anyone realize that Chad’s last official scene before the scene final actually predicated a major plot? After trying to get Pete to admit that he was Boone’s secret gay lover (to no avail), Chad gives our favorite barista one last peace of advice before he leaves. Sadly, Pete doesn’t listen and actually does end up getting murdered to death. RIP Pete.
The moral of the story is that if Chad Radwell says it, then it will definitely happen.
3. Murder Advice

The characters on the hit ABC show How To Get Away With Murder would have fewer problems if only they took murder advice from Chad Radwell.
His approach is pretty simple, with the most important rule being that once you kill a person, you should probably check their pulse to make sure you really finished the job.
4. Playing by the Rules

Don’t you just hate it when you’re playing a game, and there is that one person who won’t follow the rules? Chad Radwell is here to set the records straight.
You either play the game right, or you won’t be invited to the next ”Hiding From A Serial Killer” sleepover. Especially if it’s truth or dare, we all want to know your dirty secrets anyway.
5. Making an Entrance

No one will be able to beat Chad’s epic entrance to a Backstreet Boys song. Not only did he form the perfect point in The Dicky Dollar Scholars diamond, but he also chose the perfect weapon. After some failed attempts at killing the Red Devil (let’s be honest that red fire hydrant looked very similar to the Red Devil!), Chad did manage to call out the serial killer so job well done, right?
Even if it wasn’t the most successful, Chad Radwell’s defining moment could really be in this scene because the humor alone was too memorable to the audience and will definitely be watched again.
6. Honesty Is The Best Policy

Relationships and interactions would be much better off if more people believed in honesty. Chad has the right idea when he tells Chanel exactly what he thinks. It sets the record straight, and it doesn’t mislead either of them about where the relationship is going. Good job, Chad!
7. Animal Kindness

Chad Radwell reminded us how great of a boyfriend he was when Chanel stormed in ready to catch him in the act, only to discover him with a baby goat. Not only did he reveal his biggest secret to her, he also put the goat first instead of leaving it to suffer with all that goat milk that it had prepared for him to drink.
8. Body Positivity
There is not enough body positivity in the world toward women, but thankfully, Chad is here to save the day. He couldn’t leave the room before complimenting Hester, and we couldn’t love him anymore for it. We could all learn a thing or two from our favorite Dicky Dollar Scholar.
9. Deep Emotional Feelings

Just when we thought that Chad was just a typical guy who didn’t believe in feelings, he proved us very wrong with his serious love for his best friend Boone.
How could Chad not miss someone who reminded him of how awesome he was everyday? Bless Chad and his inspirational appreciation for his best gay friends.
10. Varied Extracurricular Interests

Being interesting is always something people strive for (unless it’s just me?) and Chad doesn’t disappoint with his interesting hobby. Like dead bodies is just the tip of the iceberg, with Chad actually visiting graveyards for fun in his spare time.
One thing we know for sure, Chad Radwell is very very interesting. But he might not be the guy you should make plans with at night….
Chad Radwell was a gift to Scream Queens, that we know for sure. Hopefully, I am not the only one who will be rooting for Glen Powell to be part of the main cast for the second season.
No matter the new location, I’m sure Chad Radwell will be able to find his way there to go against the new killer. Maybe with an aluminum bat this time around?

Glenn Powell was amazing as Chad. Every scene he was in was hilarious, if not awkward and sometimes completely random (a la Ryan Murphy’s writing style). It’s great to see a post about him. Powell and Niecy Nash both made Scream Queens fun to watch.
