Vic and Charlie Manx finally come to blows, resulting in devastating losses for both sides on NOS4A2 Season 1 Episodes 9 and 10, “Sleigh House” and “Gunbarrel.” 

NOS4A2 Season 1 Episode 8, “Parnassus,” begins to add texture to some of the secondary characters, but a lot of it feels too little, too late.

NOS4A2 Season 1 Episode 7, “Scissors for the Drifter,” feels like it’s stalling for time.

NOS4A2 Season 1 Episode 6, “The Dark Tunnels,” delivers its best episode yet as Vic checks into a mental ward.

Charlie Manx and Vic finally confront each other on NOS4A2 Season 1 Episode 5, “The Wraith,” but it is still a bit of a meandering bore. 

NOS4A2 Season 1 Episode 4, “The House of Sleep,” is ramping up the tension and stakes, but it still doesn’t truly feel like it’s going anywhere.

NOS4A2 Season 1 Episode 3, “The Gas Mask Man,” seems to nearly be done setting up pieces and getting on with real bits of the story now.
