Invasion’s Season 1 finale offers a vague epilogue and some clunky table-setting meant to justify the existence of a second season for this series, which we are sadly apparently getting.

Though the title of IContact,” implies that something major is going to happen on “Invasion,” it’s just yet another in a long line of disappointments when it comes to this show.

Invasion improves this week by (finally) telling a single story — and showing us an alien at last.

Invasion Season 1 Episode 5, “Going Home,” marks the halfway point of the first season of this Apple TV+ alien invasion drama, and we technically still haven’t actually seen an extraterrestrial.

In “Invasion’s” fourth episode, we see a variety of characters in of turmoil. This makes sense because no one has any real idea what’s happening, but it’s also not terribly fun to watch.
