Animal Control Season 5 Episode 1 Preview: The Pack Is Back with a Memorable Villain

One of TV’s best (and most underrated) comedies returns with Animal Control Season 5 Episode 1, “Seahawks and Piglets.”

The workplace comedy’s fifth season kicks off a side quest that only makes sense for Frank Shaw — finding the Seahawks’ missing mascot.

Of course, there’s a bit of network synergy here since Animal Control‘s new slot follows the NFL. It’s the continuation of a friendly partnership, with Rob Gronkowski being a recurring guest star on the show.

“Seahawks and Piglets” looks to be an eventful Animal Control season premiere. Not only will Frank lead his team in a work stoppage, but he will also, seemingly, wrestle Templeton while everyone watches. These photos are hilarious out of context — imagine what the episode has in store.

It also looks like the team — Frank, Victoria, Shred, and Patel — will band together to rescue a group of puppies. It looks like they do so in the most dramatic and intense fashion, which completely tracks. 

At some point during “Seahawks and Piglets,” the pack will also cross paths again with Ken Jeong’s Roman Park. The promos below reveal that he’s back with a new role this season — trying to put Animal Control out of business.

They also tease what’s in store for Animal Control‘s fan-favorite ships this season! For example, did Frank inspire a character in Victoria’s book?!
