What to Watch on TV This Week: Lanterns, Outer Banks, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and More!

The week of August 16th is packed with fan-favorite returns, fresh adaptations, and one finale that promises to end its season on a high note.

The new series, Lucky, which stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Timothy Olyphant, and Annette Benning brings its highly explosive season to a close this week. 

Meanwhile, on the other side of things, some highly anticipated series make their returns. Outer Banks, Average Joe, and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia promise viewers a wide spectrum of entertainment. All while Lanterns takes DC fans back into the DCU with a focus on Green Lantern.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia Season 18 Episodes 1 and 2, “Frank Marries a Corpse/Dennis and Dee Don’t Get Rich,” premiere Monday, August 17th at 9/8c on FX.

The lead detective needs to ask his father, a retired detective, for help in cracking the case.
