Critical Role’s aggressively chaotic group of heroes is finally back in action on The Legend of Vox Machina Season 4.

However, they’re extremely unprepared for the threat that dangers Exandria and everything beyond the mortal plane.

Following the teasers from New York Comic Con 2025, Prime Video released the trailer for The Legend of Vox Machina Season 4. The series will premiere on Wednesday, June 3, on Prime Video, with a three-episode weekly rollout.

Previously, The Legend of Vox Machina saw this band of warriors defeating Thordak and his army of dragons in Season 3. However, Season 4 finally brings an iconic Dungeons and Dragons villain to the table.

The trailer for The Legend of Vox Machina Season 4 finally unveils Vecna, who was previously teased at the end of The Legend of Vox Machina Season 3. In Dungeons and Dragons, Vecna is one of the game’s greatest villains who can resurrect the undead and much more.

In the world of The Legend of Vox Machina, Vecna’s influence has always existed, but has not been felt until now. The deities that Vox Machina know, including the Raven Queen, are afraid of Vecna and can only hope the group does what they do best.

However, with the rise of Vecna and his death cultists, Vox Machina will need to find new allies to help them. Fortunately, they’re joined by Taryon Darrington, a human artificer played by Wayne Brady, who eventually joins the team and their misadventures.

It may take some time for them to get back to their feet as the start of The Legend of Vox Machina Season 4 sees the team separated. Although each of them has found some sort of peace after fighting the Chroma Conclave, the call of battle can’t keep them away for long.

The Legend of Vox Machina stars Critical Role founders and cast Laura Bailey, Taliesin Jaffe, Ashley Johnson, Liam O’Brien, Matthew Mercer, Marisha Ray, Sam Riegel, and Travis Willingham.

The guest cast for The Legend of Vox Machina Season 4 also includes Kevin Michael Richardson, Debra Wilson, and Tom Cardy.

The Critical Role cast also serves as executive producers alongside Brandon Auman, Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, and Ben Kalina.
