Spider-Noir Trailer Shows Nicolas Cage’s Ben Reilly In Full Swing Against His Sinister Six

News

Spider-Noir, the mysterious version of everyone’s friendly neighborhood hero, is taking a leap of faith. However, there’s still much that Ben Reilly must face, both emotionally and physically, before he can become the best Spider-Man there is.

At CCXP Mexico 2026, Prime Video released two official trailers for Spider-Noir, both in black-and-white and in color. All eight episodes will premiere on Wednesday, May 27.

Although the teaser trailer for Spider-Man Noir presented fans with a cryptic and creepy look into Ben Reilly’s dark universe, this trailer shines a light on the biggest enemies he’ll face.

The Spider-Noir trailer sees Reilly investigating Cat’s missing friend, which puts him in the crosshairs of some dangerous enemies including Sandman, Electro, Tombstone, and Silvermane. However, Reilly is hesitant to take this case after losing his wife.

In the past, Reilly was once New York’s hero, only known as “The Spider.” After tragedy struck, Reilly decided to step down from being the neighborly protector he once was. That changes when Reilly decides to take up this case for himself, whether that be for justice or vengeance.

Reilly’s investigation also looks to bring him closer to Cat, who seems to develop an interest for the detective. Time may only tell whether Reilly and his allies might be able to find peace from all of this chaos.

Although similarities between Spider-Noir and the Spider-Verse movies were made, it’s been clarified that the series is not a spin-off of the films. Both variants of Ben Reilly will have different origins and storylines and are not directly tied to any previous Sony or Marvel film.

That said, viewers will still be able to watch and experience Spider-Noir in different visual styles. The series will release in “Authentic Black & White”, for that classic gloomy aesthetic, and “True-Hue Full Color.”
