Utkarsh Ambudkar’s Ghosts directorial debut is a presidential affair.
Ghosts Season 5 Episode 15, “Michael Jackson Goes to HR,” sees Trevor’s finance bro tendancies finally catch up with him when the job he’s been clocking into from beyond the grave calls him to the HR office.
HR representative Anthony (aka Christopher Jackson, aka Hamilton’s George Washington) is none too pleased with Trevor’s inappropriate gift to a co-worker and demands to see him in person.
Perfect casting aside, the Woodstone gang is rather impressed and horrified by how “prolifically problematic” Trevor has managed to be in the official complaint.
While he deserves to have the wrath of HR come down on him, there’s just one problem. Trevor is very much dead and working under the alias Michael Jackson. Worse, Jay has already masqueraded as Michael for Trevor during a mandatory work retreat.
So, Jay is forced to take another one for the team and attend the HR meeting on Trevor’s behalf.
Trevor, the rich Ghost father that he is, had better pay Jay and Sam handsomely for getting him out of this mess.
While Michael Jackson goes to HR, Pete finds himself on a one-way trip to the dog house.
Despite ending things with Donna, his Caribbean girlfriend, Pete casually reveals to Alberta that he still plans to visit her. Alberta, understandably, does not vibe with Pete and his ex spending time together.
As payback, Alberta gets closer to Baxter — Carol’s ex-husband and a longtime fixture of the British shed soldiers — to make Pete uncomfortable.

Previously on Ghosts, Isaac was voted in as the basement ghosts’ choice for Ghost Representative after he organized a funeral for the beloved water heater. Meanwhile, Sas and Bela learned that love cannot conquer after attempting to use Kyle as a translator to date outside of Bela’s dreams. The two reluctantly decide to stay friends and end their romantic fling for good.
