NCIS: Sydney Season 3 Episode 12, “Lone Wolf: Part One,” kicks off a multiple-episode arc with a targeted explosion.
In the first part, the team will invesigate said explosion that killed a bomb squad with ties close to the ensemble.
Given Trigger’s expertise, it would make sense for this episode to involve him more in the field work. That choice could be particularly effective after getting to know him better. Whether it be his nebulous history with Evie or his team-up with Blue against the intruders, NCIS: Sydney is putting in the work with Trigger.

It also seems like “Lone Wolf: Part One” will see more of Doc doing his job, alongside Rebecca Gibney as Nia Williams.
While it’s exciting to imagine their dynamic, it’s unfortunate that it comes in this context. There are so many bodies to examine for clues about this horrific event.
The NCIS: Sydney photos also show that Mackey at least tries to hold JD back when an argument breaks out with Johnny Carr’s Rory Latham.
Needless to say, this episode looks intense for everyone. To think that it’s a multi-parter, what else does the show have in store for these characters and this story?
