Abbott Elementary Season 5 Episode 7, “Goofgirl,” hits the clubs — school clubs that is!
Gregory reluctantly welcomes a new member to his Garden Goofballs. That new member looks to be none other than Jacob, who eagerly joins the students during lunch for some gardening and gossip.
Only time will tell if their friendship can withstand this intrusion on Gregory’s sacred club.
Meanwhile, Janine pursues her dreams to start a fashion club at Abbott.
Unfortunately, she will have to get Ava’s approval to start a new club. With Janine’s fashion sense becoming a running joke in the earlier seasons with Ava, the two may not see eye to eye on Janine leading the charge on a fashion club.
But with Ava having already taken over the step team, Janine may not appreciate sharing another club with her.

What Happened on the Previous Episode?
Previously on Abbott Elementary, the school participated in a district-wide initiative to lock up their electronic devices for a day. Unfortunately for the staff, they quickly learned they couldn’t live without their phones and devised a plan to get them back while still keeping their promise of a pizza day reward for the students.
