What to Expect from 9-1-1 Season 9 Episode 4: Reentry
The premiere event is set to conclude with 9-1-1 Season 9 Episode 4, “Reentry.” But will Athena and Hen make it home safely?
The promo video describes this episode as conclusion to the space-themed emergency. “Reentry” builds on 9-1-1 Season 9 Episode 3, “The Sky Is Falling,” which uses the event to stage a small crossover with 9-1-1: Nashville.
For this emergecy to end, Athena, Hen and the other people on the Inara have to make it home on “Reentry.” The promo video shows that Athena will take some life-endangering risks to try to make that happen.
In an attempt to fix the docking ring, Athena makes the decision to leave the spaceship and go into actual outerspace.
The 9-1-1 promo video illuminates part of her decision-making process. Hen appears to volunteer to do so, but Athena suits up before her friend can. When asked why she would do that, Athena says, “I can’t lose anybody else, Hen.”
That choice will likely bring Athena to the subject of episode’s description — confronting her life without Bobby in it.
Meanwhile, back on Earth, it seems like May and Harry will continue to help out their community as its impacted by the debris. It’s been since 9-1-1 Season 5 since Eddie and May have worked side by side, so it’s cool to see them working together in the photos below.
