Vought Rising Adds Raphael Sbarge, Romi Shraiter, Aaron Douglas, and David Hewlett
Vought Rising, The Boys‘ prequel series, has added four new cast members.
Raphael Sbarge (Once Upon a Time), Romi Shraiter (Ginny & Georgia), Aaron Douglas (Murder in a Small Town), and David Hewlett (Stargate: Atlantis) have joined the series in recurring roles, per TV Line.
Deadline exclusively reports that details about their roles are still under wraps.

Vought Rising was originally announced at The Boys‘ Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2024. It will star Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash, who played Soldier Boy and Stormfront, respectively, on the original series. Cash and Ackles will also serve as producers.
“We are excited to bring you the next deranged series from the world of The Boys,” executive producer Eric Kripke and series showrunner and executive producer Paul Grellong said at the time.
“It’s a twisted murder mystery about the origins of Vought in the 1950s, the early exploits of Soldier Boy, and the diabolical maneuvers of a Supe known to fans as Stormfront, who was then going by the name Clara Vought,” they continued.
“We cannot wait to blow your minds and trouble your souls with this salacious, grisly saga drenched in blood and Compound V.”

This spinoff series is the third expansion to The Boys, which is set to conclude with its fifth and final season. It follows the animated series The Boys Presents: Diabolical, and the college-set Gen V, which is amid its eight-episode second season. Gen V Season 2 Episode 7, “Hell Week,” premiered yesterday.
Vought Rising will also star Mason Dye, Will Hochman, KiKi Layne, Jordan Myrie, Nicolo Pasetti, Elizabeth Posey, Brian J. Smith, and Ricky Stafferi as series regulars. Cecily Strong, Mark Pellegrino, Eric Johnson, and Annie Shape are set to recur.
Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Ori Marmur, Ken Levin, Jason Netter, Garth Ennis, Darick Robertson, Michaela Starr, and Jim Barnes are executive producers.
Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios produce, in association with Kripke Enterprises, Point Grey Pictures, and Original Film.
