Outlander: Blood of my Blood Season 1 Episode 6, “Birthright,” begins with Julia announcing her water has broken.

The time-travelling baby, a mysterious role in the larger Outlander universe, is finally arriving. Still, with Julia in an unknown time and separated from Henry, the circumstances couldn’t be less ideal.

Upon hearing the news, Lord Lovat insists someone marry him and Julia before the baby comes.

In the aftermath of Julia’s pregnancy, the midwife who helped deliver the baby alleges to the Grants that Julia died in childbirth, ending Henry’s search.

Henry, having finally found out where his wife was being held captive, looks on, devastated by the news.

As for what fate awaits the three time-travelling Beauchamps, we will have to wait to see what answers Episode 6 brings.
