What to Expect from Dexter: Resurrection Season 1 Episode 9: Touched by an Ángel

As we head into the final two episodes, Dexter: Resurrection Season 1 Episode 9, “Touched by an Ángel,” serves to remind us that this is Batista’s world and we’re just living in it. After all, the man is everywhere and dead set on bringing Dexter Morgan in for being the Bay Harbor Butcher.

It’s extremely sad to see their friendship devolve into this cat and mouse dynamic. After all, if he were to sit back and truly look at who Dexter has fit his “code” to kill, Batista would understand. Unfortunately, he’s on a mission at this point to find evidence he desperately needs.

Alongside, Batista’s fall from grace is the revelation that Prater knows Dexter has a son. Now, we still aren’t certain if Prater knows Dexter’s true identity or still considers him to be “Red.” 

Either way, Prater and Charley are inching closer to the side of Dexter he wants to keep separate from his killings. Which, we know from past experiences, Dexter never reacts well to.

It’s only a matter of time before Harrison gets pulled into whatever Prater has up his sleeve which won’t end well for Prater. In this penultimate episode, there is bound to be high stakes introduced to leave us begging for more in the season finale next week.

What Happened on the Previous Episode?

Previously on Dexter: Resurrection Dexter and Batista went toe-to-toe regarding Batista’s vendetta to nail Dexter as the Bay Harbor Butcher. Meanwhile, Charley has become suspicious of Dexter thanks to all the murder club members he’s killed, but Prater isn’t willing to hear her out, just yet. And Harrison finds himself attracted to Gigi who is helping him acclimate to college life.
