Rhea Seehorn to Star in Apple TV+ Series ‘Pluribus’ from Vince Gilligan

News

Apple TV+ has announced its new sci-fi drama series Pluribus, created by Vince Gilligan. Pluribus stars two-time Emmy nominee Rhea Seehorn, who earned her nominations for her work as Kim Wexler on Better Call Saul. She was last seen on screen in the film Bad Boys: Ride or Die.

The 9-episode season will premiere with two episodes on Friday, November 7, 2025.

The official description for the show is, “a genre-bending original in which the most miserable person on Earth must save the world from happiness.” It has already been renewed for a second season.

Gilligan is best known for his work as showrunner of the Emmy-winning Breaking Bad and co-creator of the Emmy-nominated Better Call Saul.

Additional cast members include Karolina Wydra, Carlos Manuel Vesga, and guest stars Miriam Shor and Samba Schutte.  The show was filmed in Albuquerque, New Mexico, under the working title of Wycaro 399, according to reports.

The teaser trailer for the show reveals very little about the plot, featuring an unknown woman licking donuts from a box with a sign labeled, “help yourself.” Seehorn and Gilligan were seen at San Diego Comic-Con at a themed donut truck to promote the show, according to a post on X from San Diego Comic-Con Unofficial Blog
