The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 Adds Isabella Briggs, Kristen Connolly, and Five More to Cast
Ahead of its third and final season, The Summer I Turned Pretty has added seven new cast members to its ensemble.
Isabella Briggs (Sugar), Kristen Connolly (House of Cards), Sofia Bryant (I Am Not Okay With This), Lily Donoghue (Daisy Jones & The Six), Zoé de Grand’Maison (Riverdale), Emma Ishta (Stitchers), and Tanner Zagarin (Shrinking) join the returning cast.
Briggs and Connolly join as series regulars, while Bryant, Donoghue, de Grand’Maison, Ishta, and Zagarin are set to recur. The streamer has yet to release any descriptions about the characters.

This news comes amid monthly rollouts for The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3.
As previously reported, Prime Video released first-look images of the upcoming season in March. However, the streamer only shared that The Summer I Turned Pretty would return in July. Last May, Prime Video revealed that the show’s third season would premiere in 2025.
In April 2025, the streamer unveiled new key art alongside the 11-episode season’s premiere date — Wednesday, July 16. That month also saw the release of the first and only — as of reporting — The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 teaser trailer. It featured “Daylight” and “Red (Taylor’s Version)” by Taylor Swift.
In May 2025, Prime Video shared the new cover of Jenny Han’s We’ll Always Have Summer, featuring the show’s stars Lola Tung, Chris Briney, and Gavin Casalegno.
It joins the new covers of Han’s The Summer I Turned Pretty and It’s Not Summer Without You, which also feature the trio on their covers.
While it’s unclear how much of Han’s third book will make it onto the small screen, Prime Video revealed that The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 picks up at the end of Belly’s junior year of college, where she’s anticipating “another summer at Cousins with her soulmate, Jeremiah.”
“Her future seems set, until some core-shaking events bring her first love Conrad back into her life. Now on the brink of adulthood, Belly finds herself at a crossroads and must decide which brother has her heart. Summer will never be the same…,” per the season’s synopsis.
Han and Sarah Kucserka are The Summer I Turned Pretty‘s showrunners. Han, Kucserka, and Karen Rosenfelt serve as executive producers, along with Paul Lee, Hope Hartman, and Mads Hansen for wiip. The series is a co-production of Amazon Studios and wiip.
