9-1-1 Season 8 Episode 16 Preview: The Last Alarm
The 118 mourns Captain Bobby Nash on 9-1-1 Season 8 Episode 16, “The Last Alarm.”
After a two-week hiatus, the loss of Captain Robert Wade Nash still feels as fresh as it did when 9-1-1 Season 8 Episode 15, “Lab Rats,” aired. This episode picks up with the team coming together to lay their fallen loved one to rest.
While he is not entirely present in the photos below, the promo video for “The Last Alarm” reveals that Eddie Diaz has come back to Los Angeles, California, from El Paso, Texas, to attend the formal funeral service. Also, the photos show Karen comforting Hen as they, presumably, get ready for the funeral.
The 9-1-1 promo video focuses on Chimney and Athena’s reactions to Bobby’s death. The former says to Buck, “I blame him. He gave his life so I could live. I’m just sure what I’m supposed to do with that.” Elsewhere, Athena tells Hen, “He’s not supposed to be dead. He just left. He left me.”
“The Last Alarm” will see Athena, despite her own grief, dive into an old case to re-investigate the death of a child to help a grieving mother. Meanwhile, Corinne Massiah and Elijah M. Cooper will return as May and Harry for this episode.
They were last on 9-1-1 Season 8 Episode 14, “Sick Day,” discussing their place in Athena and Bobby’s new home. Now, they’re by their mother’s side while they all grieve Bobby. Needless to say, “The Last Alarm” seems like it will be an emotional watch, but at least the photos show the 118 family comforting one another.
