Wild Cards Season 2 Episode 10, “Our Lip (Fillers) Are Sealed,” takes Max and Ellis behind the scenes of a reality TV show.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards guest stars on the consultant procedural’s meta episode. Her character mourns her best friend in the promo video, which must be the murder that brings Max and Ellis into the case.
Li sends Max into the show as a new cast member. Meanwhile, the photos and promo video for “Our Lip (Fillers) Are Sealed” tease that Ellis will be on the case as a crew member. It’s also worth mentioning that this episode isn’t the first time Max and Ellis have worked a case involving TV.
That would be the vampire show on Wild Cards Season 1 Episode 6, “Dead of the Night,” guest starring The Twilight Saga‘s Ashley Greene.
Regardless, the promo video shows raw footage that reveals how the woman is murdered. As Yates succinctly puts it, “Death by stiletto.” Max and Ellis must find the truth in the world of lies and lip-filler parties.
“Our Lip (Fillers) Are Sealed” also suggests that Fletcher Donovan’s Ricky may have a bigger role during this episode. After all, the promo video shows him saying, “It makes for excellent television.” If he’s not talking about the central case’s reality TV show, what else could Ricky be up to?
