Given how the original Outlander bent time-travel and caused two worlds to collide, fans can certainly expect something similar with this series.

Starz revealed looks at Outlander: Blood of My Blood‘s leads, showcasing two different eras in history.

Hermione Corfield and Jeremy Irvine will be portraying Henry Beauchamp and Julia Moriston, a couple from World War I whose lives are transformed.

Meanwhile, Harriet Slater and Jamie Roy will be portraying Ellen MacKenzie and Brian Fraser, the parents of Jamie and Claire.

As such, Outlander: Blood of My Blood follows two different timelines: one on the battlefields of World War I and the other in the Highlands of 18th-century Scotland. While each couple will face their own challenges, their worlds are on a collision course for trouble.

In addition, the supporting cast of Outlander: Blood of My Blood includes Tony Curran as Simon Fraser and Lord Lovat, Séamus McLean Ross as Colum MacKenzie, Sam Retford as Dougal MacKenzie, Rory Alexander as Murtagh Fitzgibbons Fraser, and Conor MacNeill as Ned Gowan.

Previously, the original Outlander, which had its season finale with Outlander Season 7 Episode 16 “A Hundred Thousand Angels”, saw William desperately trying to save Jane while Jamie and Claire had their hopeful ending with a discovery about their stillborn child, Faith.
