What Happened on the Previous Episode?
Previously on The Hunting Party, the team tracked down a serial killer known for killing couples, but this one had a twist. While it was always assumed that Roy Barber was working alone, it turns out he never killed his female victims — he’d been killing their husbands for them and helping them make new lives.
Following Barber’s escape, he started looking for the women he had saved, killing the ones who’d gotten married a second time because they hadn’t, in his mind, learned their lessons. The team figured all of this out by the end and managed to capture him, all while still trying to figure out what Oliver Odell has been hiding.
Odell freely admitted to Bex that he had stayed in touch with Sam. However, the team learned that someone had gone to great lengths to hide even more than the location of the pit.
