What to Expect from The Equalizer Season 5 Episode 11: Taken

Previews, The Equalizer

While cases usually come to McCall after something bad has happened, The Equalizer Season 5 Episode 11, “Taken,” changes things up with McCall stumbling onto a case. While at the mall with Delilah, Robyn witnesses a mother desperately screaming for her child, who has just been taken.

Instead of waiting for the police to show up, Robyn takes matters into her own hands and calls for reinforcements. Mel, Harry, and Dante help lead the investigation, hopefully bringing the child home unharmed.

What Happened on the Previous Episode?

Previously on The Equalizer, Robyn and Dante team up to find out what happened during a fire that seemingly burnt down several clients’ savings. As the investigation goes on, they discover the fire was caused to distract from the fact that the money was stolen. While the security guard’s girlfriend was the main suspect, things took a turn when they discovered one of the clients was involved.

Meanwhile, Melody was encouraged by her therapist to talk to her parents about her PTSD. Even though Mel was hesitant because she never spoke to her parents about her mental health, the end result was better than she expected. In return, her father opened up about his own issues.

Curtis invited Aunt Vi to join him on a ride along. While he expected it to be a smooth ride, things went south when Aunt Vi watched him in action. Her feelings for Curtis were tested when she saw him react like any angry cop on the street.
