What to Expect from Suits: LA Season 1 Episode 4: Batman Returns

Ted makes a bold move in Lester’s murder trial on Suits: LA Season 1 Episode 4, “Batman Returns.”

What Happened on the Previous Episode?

Previously on Suits: LA, Stuart went behind Ted’s back to snag Lester’s soon-to-be ex-wife, Valerie, as a client in their divorce proceedings. New evidence suggests Lester knew about the affair before the death of his business partner, leading her to seek more than initially anticipated.

Throughout their encounters, Ted’s ferocity in negotiations imitates the anger built up inside towards Stuart. Their actions are similar; Stuart and Valerie run into the arms of the one person who would hurt their partner, triggering Ted’s volatile temperament.

In the end, though, Ted helps prove Stuart’s innocence, leading Valerie to agree to sit beside him as he goes through the trial.

Meanwhile, Erica and Leah play off one another’s strengths, working together to manage Ted’s client, Brian Baumgartner. His quest: to kill Kevin Malone, aka his character in The Office.

Leah enlists the help of Patton Oswalt, and with some trickery, everyone comes out happy in the end. We even enjoy a heartfelt moment between Erica and Leah at the end, where compliments are exchanged, and the bridge to a future friendship begins to form.
