What to Expect from Matlock Season 1 Episode 15: Game Face

With Olympia’s chance to make partner on the line, the team rushes to win the Slammed class action on Matlock Season 1 Episode 15, “Game Face.”

Olympia’s big case is in trouble after several setbacks on Matlock Season 1 Episode 14, “Game Day,” including losing its lead plaintiff. If the team is going to land Olympia’s whale, get Slammed off the market, and salvage Olympia’s shot at partner, they will need to work some serious magic.

But it’s not just the case creating drama on “Game Face.” The shoe we all knew was going to drop at some point dropped on “Game Day.” Matty found evidence that points to Olympia being responsible for the Welbrexa cover-up.

While there is sure to be another twist to the story before the end of the season, on “Game Face’ Matty will have to put on her… well…. game face and keep playing nice with the person she thinks is most responsible for keeping the drugs that killed her daughter on the streets.

What Happened on the Previous Episode?

Previously on Matlock, Olympia let her feelings about Shea cloud her judgment. Instead of using the firm’s expert in-house jury consultant, Olympia hired external consultants, jeopardizing her biggest chance of becoming a partner.

While she quickly tried to correct the course and work with Shea, a series of setbacks left the team scrambling to right the ship. Something they weren’t completely able to do by the end of the episode.

Elsewhere, Matty’s sister, Bitsy, who also happens to be part of the inspiration for part of Matty’s undercover persona, was still staying with Matty, Edwin, and Alfie after showing up unannounced on Matlock Season 1 Episode 13, “Pregame.” The two sisters hashed out some of their long-simmering issues and mended much of their rift.

The big bombshell of the episode, though, was the discovery of evidence that Olympia, not Julian, was the one who buried the Welbrexa documents. This was quite the blow to Matty, who had come to trust Olympia and was convinced she wasn’t involved in the cover-up.
