What Happened on the Previous Episode?

Previously on Chicago Med, Ripley was driving late at night when he crashed into an abandoned car. When he got out to see what happened, he heard a woman calling for help. That is when he discovered a woman and her daughter trapped in an old well. Mouch and the team of firefighters arrived to help, but they discovered the only way to get the mom out would be to amputate her leg. Ripely offered to go down and do it before they brought her up.

After Ripley was able to amputate the woman’s leg and she was brought to the surface, the hole that Ripley was in trembled, and he got trapped. While the firefighters worked to get him out, Ripley fainted and hallucinated with his deceased friend, who told him not to give up. Asher arrived right as they brought Ripley out, and she told him she loved him.

Meanwhile, Frost is faced with the visit of an old co-worker. While he seemed fine in front of Maggie, we saw him break down in the locker room. This woman’s visit will definitely impact Frost’s storyline.
