The Pitt Season 1 Episode 10 Recap: 4:00pm
Hour ten has arrived on The Pitt Season 1 Episode 10, “4:00pm,” and the staff members are excited to be clocking out soon and making plans for the weekend. However, it’s going to be an eventful two hours before freedom from the pitt.
After being attacked by Doug Driscoll during the conclusion of The Pitt Season 1 Episode 9, “3:00pm,” Dana walks back to the pitt where she is taken care of by a heartbroken Robby.
Everyone showcases how much they love her by being willing to go after Driscoll themselves and make him pay for hurting her.
The staff is on high alert—this isn’t the first time a patient has attacked one of them. When Gloria arrives to ask about the incident, the nurses voice their frustrations about the hospital’s disregard for their safety.
This event will no doubt affect the plans for the hospital since corporate has been solely focused on cutting costs and denying the much-needed extra security measures to avoid more violence against the staff. Robby simply walks away as the nurses take their concerns to HR.
Despite going through a traumatic event, Dana returns to do what she loves: running the pitt. While she is encouraged to go home, she stays because she knows she is needed.
Dana and Collins are the strongest characters in The Pitt. They have gone through unspeakable tragedies in just 10 hours, but they keep pushing through. Dana looks at a picture of her children as she sits back down — she keeps going because of her family and to make sure that all patients return to their own families, but Collins keeps going because she doesn’t want to think about having lost her baby.

However, a hospital is the worst place to have to process the emotions they are going through, with all the stress and death that’s in the air. Most likely, they are used to it by now.
After long hours of suspicion and going against the recommended advice, Santos’ instincts are proven correct as it’s revealed that Langdon is the one stealing medication from patients. He has spent the entire hour trying to tell Robby that Santos is crossing a boundary to cover his tracks, but Robby listens to Santos and confronts Langdon.
The missing vials are in his locker, and he tries to justify it by saying that he just has back pain. Robby is not having it and fires him on the spot.
How will the team take the news of Langdon’s theft and addiction? What will the repercussions be for not just the team, but the hospital? Will Whitakker ever get a case that doesn’t end in tragedy? Much is left to solve.
According to Robby, he has two hours left in his shift, but The Pitt is fifteen episodes long, which means that something will keep them in the hospital longer than anticipated.
What will the reasons be? Langdon’s theft? Vanessa’s incel son? The possibilities are endless, but rest assured that our time in the pitt is nowhere near done.
