Katie Findlay guest stars as Max’s childhood best friend, Maddy, on Wild Cards Season 2 Episode 5, “Catch Me If You Con.”

With Findlay’s appearance, the consultant procedural drama has featured all three of its previously-announced guest stars for its sophomore season.

Though Ally Sheedy’s role is specific to Wild Cards Season 2 Episode 2, “Once a Con a Time in the West,” there’s a chance Martin Sheen and Findlay’s roles may overlap — to some degree.

After all, Max has been doing her homework by revisiting the work of con-artist extraordinaire Jonathan Ashford (Sheen) all season, and she appears to put some of that into action when Maddy brings out the con artist in Max.

The promo video for “Catch Me If You Con” shows things escalating so far that Chief Li and Ellis suspect Maddy as the murderer of a former tennis pro. Max is confident that her friend is not a killer and that Maddy is only pulling a con.
