NCIS: Sydney, Previews

The team investigates the disappearance of a U.S. Naval engineer on NCIS: Sydney Season 2 Episode 3, “Back in the USSR.”

The promo video suggests that the NCIS-AFP task force is called in once the body of the long-missing person is discovered buried in concrete. The photos posit that a construction team uncovered the body by accident.

Before all of that, though, it seems like this NCIS: Sydney will give the team new NCIS jackets — and one canary yellow vest that JD proudly claims.

He wears the very bright vest as the team’s investigation takes them to a cemetery, a train station, and Doc Roy’s old friend.

The promo video for “Back in the USSR” doesn’t show who the friend is, but the photos show Anne Tenney’s Diana Parkinson looking through a box of presumed mementos with Mackey and JD. Of course, Diana can be a loved one of the person who died, Doc’s friend, or none of the above.

Assumedly, NCIS: Sydney will answer all those questions — and probably ask a few new ones — when the episode airs on Friday, February 21, on CBS.
