Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Previews

If viewers have felt there hasn’t been much to know about Silva so far, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Season 26 Episode 12, “Calculated,” is about to change that. The newcomer takes a step forward as she fights for a suspect she believes to be innocent.

While no one on SVU wants to take a chance claiming a suspect is innocent, Silva will go a step further and ask for leniency from her boss to prove one of their suspects hasn’t committed the crime. Will Benson give Silva the room she needs to prove his innocence? Or will her decades of SVU fight against this?

As the squad investigates a sexting case in a high school, they discover hundreds of students and a teacher may be involved. While Benson wants to make sure the bad guy stays behind bars, Carisi is fighting for the bigger picture. The two of them will butt heads as the ADA tries to go after a ring of pedophiles.

To make their case, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit will do what seems quite rare these days and allow a character from Law & Order to cross over. Benson and Carisi will turn to Tony Goldwyn’s DA Nicholas Baxter for the bad guys to end up in prison.
