As the squad continued to grow, the team members lost screen time according to the relevant storylines of each episode. Law & Order: Special Victims UnitSeason 26 Episode 10, “Master Key,” brings Velasco to the front of the action with a case involving a teenager and the chaos of the system.
After finding the missing teen, the team is more concerned with figuring out whether he was abducted or ran away. This will help determine the assault and whether his to blame or not. Meanwhile, Velasco is more concerned with pointing out how the system has yet again failed someone who was supposed to be protected.

Carisi continues to be back at work, but after Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Season 26 Episode 9, “First Light,” we wonder if this is the right call. As much as Benson pushes him to wake up, there is trauma that Carisi needs to work through before he can give his best in every case.
His boss didn’t hesitate to call him out on this, so we wonder what is keeping Carisi at work when he should take time off. Hopefully, his PTSD won’t interfere with this case and he will help bring justice where it’s deserved.
