Preview — Abbott Elementary Season 4 Episode 12: Grand Opening
Abbott Elementary Season 4 Episode 12, “Girard Creek,” marks the grand opening of the nearby golf club.
After struggling to establish a truce with Abbott Elementary, Girard Creek Golf Club bribed the staff with new computers to continue its shady construction dealings.
Now that the club is open for business, it extends another olive branch to Abbott’s staff and students by inviting them to the course’s grand opening.
The staff struggle to accept another gift from the club amid rising concerns that the golfing destination could accelerate the gentrification of their beloved Philly community.
We witnessed the beginning of these concerns when Abbott welcomed its first white student, and a healthy smoothie shop nearly replaced the nearby convenience store earlier in the season.
Is this the start of an important partnership for the school, or could Janine and co. be entering the lair of their latest coperate villain?
