
Star Wars: Skeleton Crew Gets Earlier Premiere Date on Disney+
Get ready to meet the Skeleton Crew early!
Disney+ has announced that Lucasfilm’s upcoming Star Wars: Skeleton Crew will premiere a day early. The adventure series will blast off with a two-episode premiere on Monday, December 2, at 6:00 p.m. PST. New episodes will stream on Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m. PST until the finale.
Lucasfilm and Disney+ celebrated the announcement with brand-new key art.

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew‘s original premiere date was Tuesday, December 3.
As previously reported, Disney+ originally announced that news with the trailer at the beginning of the month.
The series takes place after Star Wars: The Return of the Jedi, placing it at the same time as The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, and Ahsoka.
Star Wars: Skeleton Crew follows six new Star Wars characters — Jod (Jude Law), Wim (Ravi Cabot-Conyers), Fern (Ryan Kiera Armstrong), KB (Kyriana Kratter), Neel (Robert Timothy Smith), and SM-33 (Nick Frost).

The four kids “make a mysterious discovery on their seemingly safe home planet” and “get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. Finding their way home — and meeting unlikely allies and enemies. — will be a greater adventure than they ever imagined,” per the show’s logline.
Star Wars: Skeleton Crew also stars Tunde Adebimpe and Kerry Condon.
Executive producers Jon Watts and Christopher Ford are the show’s head writers. Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson also executive produce. Chris Buongiorno, Karen Gilchrist, and Carrie Beck are the co-executive producers, and Susan McNamara and John Bartnicki are the producers.
Earlier this month, StarWars.com announced that composer Mick Giacchino would compose the score for the series. Star Wars: Skeleton Crew‘s directors include Jon Watts, David Lowery, the Daniels (Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert), Jake Schreier, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Lee Isaac Chung.
