Elsbeth takes on the high-pressure world of fine dining on Elsbeth Season 2 Episode 5, “Elsbeth Flips the Bird.”
Anyone who’s worked in the culinary world or has watched The Bearknows that the restaurant industry can be an unforgiving workplace. On “Elsbeth Flips the Bird,” things go much further than frayed nerves when someone ends up dead.
Elsbeth and the team are brought in to investigate the murder of a devious kitchen staffer who was causing mayhem while working at one of New York’s most popular restaurants.
Of course, the prime suspect is the restaurant’s tough-as-nails head chef, played by guest star Pamela Adlon. Chef Z, as she is known, was none too pleased with the staffer’s antics. We’ve seen less lead someone to murder in this series.
“Elsbeth Flips the Bird” also brings back Season 1 guest star Laura Benanti, who will be reprising her role as Nadine Clay from the Season 1 finale, Elsbeth Season 1 Episode 10, “A Fitting Finale.”
It’s unclear what Nadine’s connection to the case is, but having her back for an episode will be fun.
