Preview — Abbott Elementary Season 4 Episode 5: A Dad(dy) Fight
Abbott Elementary Season 4 Episode 5, “Dad Fight,” witnesses Gregory form a special bond with one of his students.
It’s an impressive milestone for the teacher, who once struggled to connect with his class and is now forming special bonds that will stay with these children through their formative years.
Unfortunately for Gregory, this student’s father isn’t happy to hear they’ve become so close.

The jealous dad, played by Langston Kerman, can’t understand how someone was able to connect with his child on a deeper level when he struggles to do so.
Resonably, the father seeks a confrontation with Gregory to hash things out.
While that daddy fight gets underway, Melissa finds herself fighting for her life.
Okay, it’s not that dramatic, but Melissa does take a nasty fall. Instead of seeking the proper medical attention for her injuries, she’s determined to avoid looking vulnerable in front of the other staff.

It’s an episode full of conflict, confrontations, and father figures.
This episode also marks a fun (unofficial) crossover between Abbott Elementary and English Teacher, with Kerman guest-starring on both shows this season.
The teacher sitcoms know how to stay winning, that’s for sure!
