Prime Target to Premiere in 2025 on Apple TV+
Prime Target, a new conspiracy thriller, will premiere on Apple TV+ in 2025.
SAG Award-winner Leo Woodall (The White Lotus) and Quintessa Swindell (In Treatment) star in the new series created by award-winning writer Steve Thompson (Sherlock).
Prime Target‘s eight-episode season makes its two-episode debut on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. New episodes will stream weekly through March 5, 2025.

One Day‘s Woodall stars as Edward Brooks, “a brilliant young math postgraduate” and “on the verge of a major breakthrough.”
“If he succeeds in finding a pattern in prime numbers, he will hold the key to every computer in the world,” per Apple TV+’s description. Edward’s work brings about an “unforeseen enemy,” leading him to Taylah Sanders, played by Swindell.
Swindell’s character is described as an “NSA agent who’s been tasked with watching and reporting on mathematicians’ behavior.” Edward and Taylah must work together to unravel the “troubling conspiracy” on Prime Target.
The Apple TV+ series also stars Stephen Rea (Counterpart), David Morrissey (The Walking Dead), Martha Plimpton (Raising Hope), Sidse Babett Knudsen (Borgen), Jason Flemyng (Pennyworth), Harry Lloyd (Game of Thrones), Ali Suliman (Jack Ryan), Fra Fee (Hawkeye), and Joseph Mydell (Alex Rider).

The streamer announced the straight-to-series order for Prime Target and shared a first-look photo in February 2024. New Regency, with Ridley Scott’s Scott Free Productions, produces the series for Apple TV+.
Ed Rubin serves as executive producer for New Regency alongside Beth Pattinson, Emma Broughton, Yariv Milchan, Arnon Milchan, and Michael Schaefer; Marina Brackenbury is executive producer for Scott Free Productions along with David W. Zucker and Scott.
Laura Hastings-Smith serves as executive producer alongside acclaimed writer and director Brady Hood, who will also direct all eight episodes.
