Boo? More like Bah-humbug.

Ghosts Season 4 Episode 3, “Halloween 4: The Witch,” promises an unprecedented spooky special when Jay declares Halloween at Woodstone is canceled.

Sam, holding a giant jack-o-lantern, immediately protests, but Jay is having none of it.

Carol dying on the property last year was his breaking point, and he refuses to participate in any activities that could cause death or a gazebo fire.

However, Jay forgets idle hands are the devil’s playground, and bored ghosts are bound to find trouble.

As he hosts a harmless neighborhood yard sale that sees familiar faces reappear to haggle for Hetty’s old treasures, Patience makes her distaste for their usual Halloween festivities known.

When Patience declares Sam’s séance proof of witchcraft, the other ghosts jump on the chance to hold a fake witch trial for Sam to occupy themselves.

However, things quickly get out of hand when Sam is convicted and suddenly disappears. At the same time, a stone statue appears on the lawn that looks an awful lot like her…

During a Ghosts holiday special, anything is possible.

Bridgerton costumes, hints at a mysterious new ballroom setting, and a good old-fashioned witch trial work together to deliver us vintage spooky season silliness.

Not even Jay can stop Ghosts from delivering a chaos-riddled Halloween special. With this year’s episode falling on Halloween night, we are especially in for a treat.
