Preview — Doctor Odyssey Season 1 Episode 4: Wellness Amidst The Storm

Following yet another week of eclectic passengers and drama amongst its staff, The Odyssey prepares for a week to focus on wellness and health with Doctor Odyssey Season 1 Episode 4, “Wellness Week.”

After the conclusion of the stressful events of Doctor Odyssey Season 1 Episode 4, “Plastic Surgery Week,” the medical team aboard seems to have earned a slow week, but of course, the high seas are never as calm as they seem. Captain Massey is the first to remind us of this fact.

We don’t know what passengers will board The Odyssey this week, but it seems to be the most difficult week for the crew yet. The captain stares at the sea as he says that he’s been sailing for the better part of his life and “it’s dangerous” with a grave look on his face. Max is then seen requesting help for a patient revealed to be Avery.

Avery’s appendix is rupturing, and the team must make a difficult decision: perform surgery even though it’s not allowed on board or let her die. After this revelation, Max tells a worried Massey that he will need a miracle.

As Max and Tristan perform the surgery to the best of their abilities, a rogue wave hits the ship, putting all of their lives at risk.

During a week dedicated to wellness, The Odyssey ironically finds itself overwhelmed by a surge of ailing patients. Meanwhile, Tristan’s new romance sparks jealousy, and Capt. Massey must bring the ship to safety in the midst of a hurricane.
