Just as the teaching staff seems to be settling into the school year, Abbott Elementary Season 4 Episode 2, “Ringworm,” unleashes a terrifying outbreak on the student body.
During one of Jacob’s lessons, he learns a student has ringworm. While Mr. Hill relays this info to his coworkers with relative ease, not all of them share in his calm and collected response to the news.
They must move quickly to prevent the outbreak from spreading throughout the school. However, instead of banding together, the teachers quickly turn on each other.

The staff quarentine Jacob and Barbara to the second floor, with Mr. Johnson acting as their security detail.
Meanwhile, classic Ava, decked out in quarantine gear straight from her apocalypse preparation kit, uses her access to the PA system to declare The Purge rules are now in effect for students.
However, no one is taking the outbreak worse than Gregory, who suggests they burn down the school and cut their losses.
Our poor guy is down bad and using his gardening clothes as PPE as he teaches his class about the harmful effects of certain fungi. It’s difficult for Janine to be a supportive girlfriend when he’s spraying everyone in his vicinity with disinfectant spray.
Will Abbott Elementary staff survive this ringworm outbreak with their dignity intact? It is highly unlikely.
