After Voight’s craze during the premiere, the team suffered a loss. Chicago P.D. Season 12 Episode 2, “Blood Bleeds Blue,” picks right back up after the shooting. Will Ruzek blame himself for the death of his partner?

Given the circumstances, we are left wondering if the shooting was random or if someone is coming after the Intelligence Unit because of everything Voight has done. Could it be that they have a target on their backs?

It is now Adam’s turn to go crazy, trying to find the shooter. Even though Voight will try to keep everyone calm and focused, he has no right to tell Ruzek (or anyone on the team) not to go after revenge.
