Preview — Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 1: Can Archer Handle the New ED Doctors?

Chicago Med, Previews

Chicago Med has been a part of the Dick Wolf family and the One Chicago universe for almost a decade. That is why Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 1, “Sink or Swim,” starts the significant milestone with a chaotic shift at the ED after a ship capsizes and everyone is rushed to Gaffney Chicago Medical Center.

With the ED overcapacity and new doctors learning the ropes, even Sharon Goodwin has to scrub in and help where necessary. One thing that has always been clear is Goodwin’s incredible past as a nurse. It will be quite interesting to see her put her experience to work during the premiere.

While Goodwin scrubs in, Archer must handle the new doctors. To put his character growth and patience to the test, these new doctors push every boundary and aren’t afraid to speak up.

As necessary as it is to see new and different characters, history tells us that characters who push the boundaries too hard don’t last long. The only one capable of doing it for several seasons was Halstead. Will these new doctors follow in his footsteps? Or will they be following Zola out the door?
