Somebody Somewhere to End with Season 3 on HBO
Somebody Somewhere Season 3 premieres this fall on HBO.
The Peabody Award-winning series will end with its third season. HBO has released first-look photos of and a teaser trailer for the upcoming season.
Somebody Somewhere, starring, written and executive produced by comedian and singer Bridget Everett, returns on Sunday, October 27 at 10:30 EST on HBO and will be available to stream on Max.

The series debuted in 2022 and follows Everett as Sam Miller, “a true Kansan on the surface, but, beneath it all, struggling to fit the hometown mold,” per its description. Sam uses singing as a “saving grace” to grapple with loss and acceptance.
It also “leads her on a journey to discover herself and a community of outsides who don’t fit in but don’t give up, showing that finding your people, and finding your voice, is possible.”
Somebody Somewhere Season 3 will feature “growth against all odds,” per HBO’s description.
“It has been the greatest dream to bring this world to life, and to do it with HBO,” Everett, co-creator, writer, and executive producer Hannah Bos, co-creator, writer, and executive producer Paul Thureen, and executive producer Carolyn Strauss said.

“Kansas Prairie-sized love and thanks to Amy, the entire HBO family, and to the most talented and caring cast and crew,” they continued.
“The heart of Somebody Somewhere is friendship, and we will always hold dear the friendships on the screen and those forged behind the camera,” Everett, Bos, Thureen, and Strauss concluded.
As previously reported, HBO renewed the series for Season 3 in June 2023.
“We are incredibly proud to have collaborated with Bridget, Hannah and Paul on this remarkable exploration of the beauty of everyday life,” Amy Gravitt, Executive Vice President, HBO Programming, Head of HBO & Max Comedy Series, said.

“Though it’s hard to say goodbye to these characters we hold dear, we’re grateful for this journey and the legacy Somebody Somewhere leaves behind,” Gravitt added.
The third season also stars Jeff Hiller as Joel, Mary Catherine Garrison as Tricia Miller, Tim Bagley as Brad, Murray Hill as Fred Rococo, Jennifer Mudge as Susan, Mercedes White as Tiffani, Meighan Gerachis as Irma, and newcomer Ólafur Darri Ólafsson as Iceland.
Hannah Bos, Paul Thureen, Bridget Everett, and Carolyn Strauss for Mighty Mint, Jay Duplass, Mark Duplass, and Mel Eslyn for Duplass Brothers Productions, and Tyler Romary executive produce the series. Shuli Harel produces.
Somebody Somewhere’s final season is written by Hannah Bos and Paul Thureen, Bridget Everett, Lisa Kron, and Lennon Parham and directed by Jay Duplass, Robert Cohen, and Lennon Parham.
