Preview — The Conners Season 6 Episode 10: Jackie’s Retirement

After decades of hardwork and dedication to a series of odd jobs, Jackie is finally calling it quits and retiring. The Conners Season 6 Episode 10, “Campaign U-Turn and a Hard Write,” gives this beloved character the full family send-off with balloons, a crown, and warm, happy memories.

It’s what comes next that is bound to cause some tension between Jackie and a few of her in-laws. She doesn’t know how to relax and enjoy life; Jackie needs something to do.

Unfortunately, her idea to fill her time puts her in direct conflict with Louise’s plans to run for the local school board. Jackie attends an election meeting and creates tension with other voters and Louise.

Meanwhile, Dan is experiencing some tension of his own with Ben thanks to a request to write something up for a Hardware magazine. Ben has always prided himself on his writing skills and misses the publication he once produced and wrote for. 

This new venture for Dan could mean trouble for his partnership with Ben.
